Infant of Prague Pattern

For so long I wanted to be able to make elegant vestments for an Infant of Prague Statue. Forget running into JoAnnes to find a pattern in any of the leading books like Mcalls, Butterick etc. Big pattern makers shy away from anything religious so as not to offend anyone these days. Tired of not being able to find a pattern I set down to draft my own. Since then it has been published and can be found here...

Infant of Prague Pattern

Pattern is written to fit 9, 12 and 18" Statues.

I like the looks of this Vestment set. Some of the prefab sets you can buy are so LOUD! The fabrics and embroidery are simple yet elegant. Tiny beads were sewn into the vine motif on the violet and gold cape.
